In June, Intea signed a 6-year lease with the Swedish Tax Agency for new premises in the Campus area of Östersund in central Sweden. A brand-new 6,750 sqm building will be constructed, with occupancy expected from the third quarter of 2023.

The new building will be constructed in the eastern part of the area on the existing development right, next to the Swedish Enforcement Authority building. The Tax Agency’s part of the building comprises 4,600 sqm, with an annual rental value of SEK 9.2 million.

The building will consist of two structures, connected by a glazed central section, with open and flexible spaces allowing for future adaptation. The project is being built to high design and environmental standards, with the aim of achieving BREEAM Excellent certification.Construction is expected to start in early 2022.

"The Tax Agency's establishment here underlines the attractiveness of the area, and it’s great that they have chosen to work with us. The campus area is continually growing and there’s significant interest in our premises," says Jerker Häggström, Managing Director of Intea Östersund.
