Intea and the Swedish Prison and Probation Service have entered into a lease agreement for approximately 1,500 sqm in a building located in central Skövde.
The building was constructed in the 1880s by the Swedish State Railways Pension Fund as residential housing for railway employees and has also been used as offices for the Western Military District Staff. In the 1990s, the building was refurbished for the University of Skövde, which occupied the premises until September last year.
The annual rental value amounts to approximately SEK 2.6 million with 70 percent CPI indexation. The lease term is three years, and possession will be granted on July 1, 2026. The premises will be adapted for the Swedish Prison and Probation Service’s education activities, and the tenant improvements will be fully financed by the tenant.
”We are pleased to welcome the Swedish Prison and Probation Service to this historic building, and it is especially gratifying that the premises will continue to be used for educational activities”, says Robert Andersson, CEO Intea Vänersborg.
